Surf & Family

My love for surfing began at the age of three years old. My mum and dad run a surf school at Balevullin beach on the isle of Tiree, called Blackhouse Watersports, so we have always been around the water. I enjoy going out and catching some waves with my brother as he constantly encourages me and gives me tips whilst enjoying being in the water and feeling super excited. When there is no surf we are usually out in our wee boat fishing and putting out creels. I have recently got into kitesurfing too which I am loving. It’s so different to surfing and means that you look forward to windier days too.

Sociable & Travel

Surfing is a super sociable sport, you get to meet so many new people from all over the world and it’s been great travelling to new places doing a sport that I love. I have been super lucky to have surfed in Indonesia, Spain, France, Scotland and England. My favourite place to surf is Spain because I have lots of friends to surf with there, the water is warm and there are great waves! I always love surfing in Tiree as well because it’s home to me and it’s really a beautiful place. (Gary the puppy loves Tiree too!)

InterHigh & Kangaroos

I go to an internet school called InterHigh and I’m studying for my GCSE’s. it’s great as it means that I can surf and travel without missing any school.

When I am older, I want to continue to surf and travel the world. One place that really excites me to visit is Australia. This is because it has some of the best surf in the world and the wildlife of Australia looks super beautiful. I’d love to see a kangaroo :)
