Adventures

I’m Alex and I love adventuring and being around water. My mum tells me I could swim before I could walk and I believe her! I was lucky enough to travel the world with my parents when I was growing up so that is definitely where I get my thirst for adventure.

Jack of all trades

As a scientist I enjoy learning new things and am willing to try anything at least once so I’m a bit of a “Jack of all trades, master of none”. When I’m not working I will usually be in the gym, swimming, paddle boarding, bodyboarding/surfing or occasionally up a hill. In the winter I spend my time ice swimming and snowboarding.

Get outdoors

I believe that movement is medicine and I love sharing my passion for getting active in nature. The outdoors has so much to offer, no matter what you’re interested in. I hope that what I do and my search for adventure encourages others to try new things and get outside more..
